At the gateway to the city of Amarante, in Vila Garcia, the exterior overhaul of the Soutelo House aims to contextualize and strengthen this house’s relationship with its rural surroundings.

The outside layout’s pronounced organic lines will help to re-create the surprise effect and organize the space. As such, the central zone is marked by a small water feature which, in addition to its structural function, provides freshness and sound to the location. Right next to this privileged zone will be a small leisure area for children.

The northern side will feature a small garden, an orchard and an adjacent barbecue area.

The enclosing wall, together with a diversified range of plant species, will help to provide greater privacy, comfort and human well-being.
