Bráulio Ferreira, landscape architect

Born in Vila Real, Portugal, in 1974, he received consecutive degrees in Agricultural Engineering and Landscape Architecture from the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro. He accumulated vast experience in the areas of agriculture and landscaping which, in particular, led to the co-founding of Greenarq. Texture as a tactile experience is, to him, essential in designing vegetation and promoting combinations between handcrafted materials and/or materials using modern technologies. He is passionate about nature and Ribeira da Pena, where he lives with his wife and two children.

Nuno Vigário, landscape architect

Born in Angola in 1973, he received a degree in Agricultural Engineering and in Landscape Architecture from the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, Portugal. Throughout his career, he has carried out countless projects, both as a freelance professional and working for other companies and for Greenarq, which he co-founded. He is an enthusiast of landscaping that emphasizes shape as a sculptural consideration, in contrast to the irregular organic shapes of vegetation.
