Quinta do Lobo Branco

Final Design

Paço de Sousa

The landscape architecture project was designed to seamlessly integrate the hotel into its natural surroundings, creating a balanced dialogue between architecture and landscape.

The outdoor spaces surrounding the accommodation combine expansive lawns, carefully selected shrubs and herbaceous planting with contrasting textures, and natural stone pebbles, resulting in a contemporary, harmonious and timeless landscape.

The park embraces the site’s existing woodland, natural springs, watercourses and topography. A series of small weirs create tranquil reflecting pools that enhance the sensory experience, while walking paths, relaxation areas, a small platform for sports activities, and a multifunctional structure designed in the form of ruins invite visitors to unwind, explore and connect with nature.

More than a collection of outdoor spaces, the project offers an immersive experience where landscape, heritage and wellbeing come together to create a distinctive sense of place.
