The design for this garden, located in the middle of a rural zone of the parish of Arrifana, Santa Maria da Feira, was conceived for a young couple with two children.

With a straight, longitudinal shape, the space spreads out from the home of modern architectural design, towards a wooded area of oak and chestnut trees. Connecting the different home, garden and woodland spaces is a small wall, accompanied by a pedestrian walkway in paving stone. At the end of this walkway, framed by the beautiful surrounding woodland, there will be a small two-level sitting bench for rest and contemplation.

Along the space, in a formal arrangement, are several different features: a lawn area near the home which runs all the way to the swimming pool, a small playing area for children and finally an orchard. Next to the home, there will also be a small aromatic garden.

Much like the house, the proposed walls, benches and ground coverings will all be made of concrete.
