The purpose of this project is to convert natural grass into a synthetic grass surface to cut maintenance costs, build small curtains of trees to outline the visual basins and reorganize small paved areas, in addition to other improvements to the support infrastructures in fields 2, 5 and 6 of the Lisbon University Stadium.

These fields, which are used for football and rugby, must be of high quality in order to play these sports. As such, the synthetic grass to be used and other work to be done must be properly certified.
